Pink Silk Kurta Set with Gold Embroidery

This one's silk through and through, with a soft dusty pink base and a raw-silk sheen that catches the light as it moves. The embroidery is concentrated in a two-panel yoke — a floral bouquet worked in gold, olive, and rose thread up top, with a fine lattice of tiny florets below. It comes as a set: a short, straight-cut kurta, matching straight pants, and a dupatta with scattered embroidery and a scalloped edge.

The Embroidery

Each side of the yoke splits into two sections: a floral cluster at the shoulder in gold and rose thread with a scatter of sequins, and a trellis pattern below it, filled with small florets in gold, olive green, and mauve. It's detailed work, but it stays contained to the yoke, so the rest of the kurta stays smooth silk.

The Dupatta

The dupatta picks up the same gold-and-floral embroidery in a few scattered motifs along its scalloped edge, rather than a continuous border — a lighter touch than the rest of the collection.

Fit & Comfort:

The kurta is cut short and straight, sitting around the hip rather than falling to knee-length or below, and pairs with straight-leg pants rather than a flared palazzo. It's woven in silk, with the slight texture and sheen you'd expect from a raw silk base. Sleeves are three-quarter length with a scalloped gold trim at the cuff.

How to Style It:

The shorter length and straight pants make this one easier to dress down than the floor-length Anarkalis — good for lunches, day functions, or smaller gatherings. Gold jhumkas and bangles complete the look without adding too much on top of the embroidery already there.
